BACK TO SCHOOL????

Hello again, and welcome to a new academic year here in UMAR.
I sincerely hope that each one of you passes all the lectures, and, more than getting a good mark, you LEARN.
As many of you might know, there have been many changes in the university (administrative issues?). A considerable number of Head Teachers from diferent programs were fired this summer; including our last Head teacher Ximena Sanhueza. I don't know the reasons, and, if I would, I know that they're not so clear. So, don't ask me about that (you can ask Roberto Mella if you want to know the reasons).
Other teachers quit: Maximo Quitral, Marco Ugarte, among others. So, you'll have new teachers in the classrooms because new teachers were hired for that. Will you like them? I don't know.
The new English Program Head Teacher is Raul Huentequeo from Curicó (I guess). So, if you want to know more information apart from this one, ASK HIM (072-712975) . By this date, he's still organizing who is going to teach what... In that way I ONLY KNOW SOME OF THE LECTURES/CLASSES THAT I'LL TEACH. And, in the English Program, they are:

English 1 (1st year students). 18 sessions (1 hour 15 minutes per week)
English 7 (4th year students) Reading. 18 sessions (1 hour 15 minutes per week)...

I didn't take any practice classes because we (teachers) are not under a work contract.

AND THAT'S IT!
FEW? I guess... The only thing I know is that you won't see me that much in the English department. Sorry.

BY THIS DATE, I DON'T HAVE THE SCHEDULE/TIMETABLE... I'M SORRY. We'll have to wait until the Head teacher updates the info. Questions? Ask him (072-712975).

Well... for this reason, I don't think I'll be the English Program Tutor anymore. Because I don't have much contact with most of the English Program Students during classes as you can see. I'm sorry.

Anyhow, YOU ALL KNOW THAT, HERE, MORE THAN A TEACHER, YOU HAVE A FRIEND TO TALK TO.

THANKS.
